Who is the Sidmouth Craft Hub for?

Everyone! There are classes designed for adults, children, and classes designed for parent/carer and child together. When you click on any of the items in the classes timetable, it will indicate if it is suitable for children and give a minimum age.
How long are the craft classes?

Most classes are between 2 and 2.5 hours long. There is always a half-time break where we provide you with a lovely mug of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
The Silver Jewellery Classes can be between 2.5-3 hours long because of the drying, finishing and polishing times involved.
The After-School Craft Club on Tuesday afternoon last for an hour, between 4-5pm.
The children’s classes in half term and school holidays last around 1.5 hours.
How many people are in each class?

The majority of our classes have a minimum of 5 places, and limited to a maximum of 10. This is to ensure that everyone gets some individual help and time from the Tutor. Some classes, like the Silver Jewellery ones, are limited to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people because of the complexity of the skills you will be learning. The minimum/maximum number of places are indicated on the details of each Class in the Timetable.
How do I pay for the craft class I want to go to?

You can book and pay for your chosen class safely online by Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards. Just press the Book button on the Class you are interested in and follow the prompts. If you prefer, call Felicity on 07768205294 who will take payment over the phone.
Do I need any previous experience or knowledge?

No, the only thing you need to bring with you is a desire to learn and enjoy the experience. All the materials needed for the craft class will be provided. Where classes are for intermediate or advanced students, these will be marked accordingly, and for these you must have either done the craft at a lower or same level before so that you are familiar with the basic terms, techniques and practices.
